This process of buying and wearing clothes is a very important part of culture on a societal level, and personality on a personal level. There has been a change within the last thirty years, shoes have become an essential part of people's outfit. We can thank music and sports for this. Within those last thirty years music has started to name drop a style of shoes in songs. This has created a culture around the shoes that people wear. Notable musicians that have dropped shoes in their music have been Jay Z, Drake, Pharrell, Tyler the Creator, Skepta and Kanye West. Not only has the music industry created this dynamic, but so has sports. Most sports rely on quality shoes for athletes to perform at their best. Companies have used ball players as a way to market their product. Notable players that have helped market equipment have been Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant,  David Beckham, Usain Bolt, Tiger Wood

The Only Constant Is Change

In this ever changing world that we live in, Hyde Park is just another example of a neighborhood keeping up with the change in this world. Downtown Hyde Park is the epicenter of the change that we can see today. Downtown Hyde Park is found on 53rd Street and in-between Dorchester Avenue and Lake Park Avenue. Not only is the neighborhood trying to modernize the look of the area, it also wants to keep the area clean. To promote and support the change,  The Downtown Hyde Park Chicago Blue Badge Business Program serves all new businesses under one organization to promote the change we are seeing. The Blue Badge Program has put up new trees, new facades, and new bike racks to help create a cleaner look to Downtown Hyde Park. They have also contracted a private company with their Beatification Project, which is to help keep the area clean by picking up litter three times a week.
